Spectrum, the digitally animated film is driven by 2LG’s colour memories, aiming to emotively represent the design duo's connection and experimentation of colour and form.

We were briefed to respond to a personal collection of imagery, colours and poetry as the initial basis of the film, including organic landscapes, florals, 3D-printed curved objects and moiré patterns.

These were distorted, manipulated and recreated through a series of 2D, 3D animation and VFX, allowing us to create a blissfully captivating universe.

The final outcome displayed at the Hart Hotel consisted of an immersively digital artwork projected across panoramic screens, acting as the finale within a larger installation representing 2LG’s decade-long career.

The piece was brought further to life with a bespoke soundscape by Quentin LaChapele.
