A visual portrayal of technological design & innovation.

Commissioned by WGSN to launch their Consumer Tech subscription, the film aims to communicate the value proposition and potential of this service through form, movement and colour in order to be impactful to new audiences.  

The opportunity to visualise a consumer-focused methodology for future or speculative products allowed us to experiment with the playful intangibility of 3D and digital animation.

This was balanced by the relatable tangibility of familiar tech products, as seen throughout the film.

Each element of the film symbolically correlates to WGSN’s offerings and expertise.
Particles and meshes represent insight and data, while waves of colour embody increased demand through enhanced lifestyles.

Objects associated with various consumer tech spaces emerge from these colourful areas, such as a VR headset for the home and a Dash Cam for the automotive space. 

Our intention was to create visuals that align with our current technological landscape while maintaining a sense of ‘feeling’ that considers the end user in a meaningful way.

The film and imagery provided a visual identity for WGSN’s Consumer Technology subscription service, applied across all their online platforms.
